Hey I'm Kris. I'm 27. I was born and raised right here in Knoxville. I was a Karns Beaver all twelve years of school. I was a Pellissippi State Technical Community College Panther for a year after that (trust me that's the mascot, I promise!). From there I became a Tennessee Volunteer. That was where I earned my BS Degree in Communications (for what it’s worth, I minored in Political Science, not a good choice for me kids, I wouldn’t recommend it).

I really met Jesus at 14 on the Mall in Washington DC when about 800,000 other dudes (literally!) were there too. It’s a cool story, I’ll tell you some time. From there I worked in media with the youth group at church for the next few years. And it's also around this time that I found out about Christian Music, and kind of got addicted to it. There were 4Him and Phillips Craig and Dean cassettes everywhere, it wasn’t pretty.

When I was in high school I got a job at Cedar Springs Christian Store. In a couple of years I was running the music department at their North Knoxville store. It was an awesome job; I got way more CDs there than I get here. I mean it was like a monthly thing, reps would come in and just give me a stack of CDs :D. Anyway, I worked there all through college until I came here to the Christian Media Center.

I started out as a Love 89 intern, from there I began producing and operating the Bob Bell Show for Joy 62, and doing weekends for Love 89. I worked at those things for a year. That’s when the Night Show position opened up, which is where I had been until I moved to mornings I hosted the morning show with marisa, we won an award, it was cool. And Now I'm on every weekday afternoon from 2-7 :)

I’m Married the most gracious, graceful, kind and beautiful woman I've met on this Earth. Her name's Amanda.
We have a golden retriever named Lady, she's real smart and thinks she's a lap dog.

I enjoy lots of things, mainly music. I can talk about most any TV show; my favorites are 24, Lost and, the Office. I like to read; Donald Miller and CS Lewis and the occasional Harry Potter book are at the top of that list. My wife and I attend Northstar Church in West Knoxville.
